NEC NP-PH1000U 3-Chip DLP Projector

NEC announced the new NP-PH1000U digital projector for professional integration projects. The professional installation projector is based on 3-chip DLP system and is able to operate 24/7. It is designed for higher education, house of worship, corporate and retail environments where there is high ambient light or the need for a larger screen size.

Powered by 3-chip 0.96″ DLP system, the NEC NP-PH1000U features 1920×1200 WUXGA native resolution, 2000:1 contrast ratio and offers 11,000 lumens brightness with dual UHP lamps with up tp 2500 hours of lamp life. The projector includes stacking capability offering up o 4400 lumens with four projectors. It has Open Pluggable Specification option slot including an HD/SD SDI input card and SBC.

The NEC PH1000U also sports Integrated Device Technology HQV, a high-performance video processing and scaling system designed for computer signals, as well as standard or high-definition video, producing superior video processing using pixel-based, motion-adaptive de-interlacing to remove undesirable motion artifacts typical of interlaced signals. You can also find cornerstone correction and geometric correction, edge blending technology, and support for PIP/Side-by-Side for showing two sources at the same time. It also supports DICOM simulation.

The NEC PH1000U, designed for professional integration, includes Windows Network Projector Function, Windows Remote Desktop Function, Windows Network Drive and Media Connection. It provides HDMI, DIsplayPort, computer, component and s-video inputs. NEC will release the projector in October for $54,999 (without lens).
